Re: [labmembers] possible to cut chrome photomasks?

Do you need glass?
It is possible, but a little messy.

Consider Mylar, perhaps backed by glass (a piece of microscope slide?)

Subject: [labmembers] possible to cut chrome photomasks?

Hello labmembers,

Do you know if it is possible to cut chrome photomasks?
I need a small (1" x1") piece of glass with 25 microns diameter dark dots on it and I would like to find out if I can have a photomask made then cut it to smaller pieces.

Thanks,
Valerie
